Author: Rena Pirsos, XpertHR Legal Editor
Eleven states have issued revised withholding tables for wages paid on and after January 1, 2013. These are in addition to 2013 tables already issued by nine states.
The new tables are available online for each of the following states:
- Colorado. The state Department of Revenue (DOR) revises its withholding tables only in odd-numbered years.
- Connecticut.
- Georgia.
- Hawaii.
- Illinois.
- Maryland.
- New Mexico.
- Oklahoma. These are the latest revised tables, issued with further adjustments after the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 was signed into law. Employers should not use the earlier version of the tables dated December 2012.
- Oregon.
- Rhode Island.
- Vermont.
